Message from the President
Dear Respected Members of the Korean American Society of CPAs (KASCPA),
Warm greetings.
I am honored to serve as the President of the Korean American Society of CPAs for 2026. I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude to all our members who contribute to the Korean-American community and the U.S. economy with professionalism and integrity in your respective roles. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to the past presidents, executive board members, regional presidents, and every member who has dedicated themselves to the growth and development of KASCPA since its founding in 1996.
Thanks to your leadership, combined with the unwavering support and dedication of our members and sponsors, our association has achieved rapid growth. We have successfully hosted conferences for our members not only across the United States but around the world. Even amidst a rapidly changing economic, tax, and accounting landscape, as well as the rapid advancement of AI technology, our association has continuously provided diverse opportunities for our members' ongoing professional development and mutual networking.
This year, our association is prioritizing the enhancement of professional expertise and the expansion of our network as our top objectives. As part of these efforts, I am delighted to announce that we will host our 2026 Annual Conference in beautiful Cancun, Mexico, to strengthen the bonds among our members and hold in-depth discussions on the latest trends.
This conference will feature practical, expert-led sessions covering the latest tax laws, international tax issues, and hands-on practices, alongside invaluable networking opportunities. In particular, we expect this to be a meaningful time to collectively map out the path forward for Korean-American CPAs in a rapidly changing global environment.
We warmly invite all members to join us at this conference to share professional knowledge and cultivate friendships surrounded by beautiful nature, and we ask for your keen interest and active participation.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to all those who have sponsored us over the years, and we look forward to achieving great success and growing together through continued collaboration.
We ask for your ongoing support and participation so that KASCPA can continue to grow as your dependable, lifelong partner.
Sincerely,
Eric S Kang (강석우)
